Personligt betalningsansvar i AB (engelska)

Question

Hi, I am a board member of Special Instruments AB in Åkersberga. It's not going well with this company, soon the owner will be bankrupt. What does that mean for me financially? Does 'Kronofogden' also take my private house and other personal assets? Thanks for your reply.

You generally have no personal liability for your duties as board member in a Swedish AB. You can only lose what you put into the company, if this amount is needed to pay for the obligations of the company.
