Food purchase

Question

For USA residents visiting Sweden, is there a way to purchase Swedish foods such as Marabou chocolate or knäckebröd? These foods are hard to obtain in the USA, but are now expensive in Sweden due to the VAT.

Hi,

it is possible to buy the food you refer to in any supermarket. No legal restriction exist as to the quantitites of such purchases. Neither will the Swedish Customs Austhority charge any custom duties for exporting the food outside Sweden.
