Suing for defamation

Hello my situation is that some girl in my class at university reported me to the school authority for sexuall harassment because i asked her out for a drink and that i have sexuall comments towards her in school. That aside my question is does the school have the right to report such accusations to non governmentla authority? for example kvinojouren? I have not been contacted by the school to answer to the accusations or defend myself or just to let me know of the accusations. i have friends who are members of kvinojouren who have access to this report and that my personal details are in this report and that its public, anyone can have access to it. i feeloffend that my name is in a report that i sexually harrassed someone without being contacted about it or offered to say something about it. dont teachers have tystnadplikt? and what law allows them to give out such informations about private people to kvinojouren especially when i have not been contacted? am new in sweden and would like to have help in this matter. Thank you.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your mail.

There is no law in Sweden prohibiting the university staff from contacting  Kvinnojouren.

If the allegations against you are untrue you could sue for defamation. The criminal offence of defamation is regulated by Chapter 5, Article 1 of the Swedish Penal Code (brottsbalken). The Article defines defamation where a person is pointed out as someone being a criminal, or as having a reprehensible way of living or otherwise furnishes information intended to cause exposure to the disrespect of others.

If you want to sue for defamation you should contact the Swedish police.

Yours faithfully,
