How does my wife write a skuldbrev for a private loan to her daughter which makes her husband equally liable to repay the loan. The loan is for a deposit on a house purchase.

In the certificate of indebtednes the lender should specify who is responsible to repay the loan. In this case the best way is to write that the daughter and her husband are bound in solidum.
